Good Women Association (GWA) is a women-led, not-for-profit organization advancing the rights, dignity, and agency of vulnerable women, girls, and children in Nigeria.
To empower vulnerable women, young girls and children by promoting gender equality, access to healthcare, protection from violence, and economic independence. Through advocacy, education, and community-driven initiatives, we strive to create a society where every woman, girl and child has the opportunity to live a healthy, dignified, and self-sufficient life.
From local initiatives to global change, our journey continues.
We envision a world where all women and girls, regardless of their background or circumstances, are protected, educated, and empowered to reach their full potential. A world where they have a voice in shaping their futures, are free from discrimination and violence, and can thrive in an environment of equality, justice, and opportunity.
Creating pathways to a brighter, more equitable future.
These principles guide our work and define our approach to creating lasting change.
We believe in working alongside communities, not for them. By fostering local leadership and ownership, we ensure sustainable outcomes that last long after our projects are completed.
We uphold honesty, ethical conduct, and consistency in all our actions and relationships. Our commitment to integrity ensures that we remain a trusted partner to the communities we serve.
We believe that lasting change is only possible through collective effort. By fostering strong partnerships, we amplify voices, share knowledge, and create inclusive solutions.
Openness is central to how we operate. We are committed to sharing information, decisions, and outcomes with our stakeholders, ensuring our processes are clear and inclusive.
We harness the strength of diverse perspectives, skills, and experiences to create greater impact together than we could achieve alone through integrated approaches.
We are committed to challenging inequality and injustice in all its forms. Our work is driven by the belief that every woman, girl, and child deserves equal rights and protection.
Whether you want to volunteer, donate, or partner with us, there are many ways to contribute to our work and help create positive change around the world.
